Step by Step Pond Building
Placement of pond, skimmer, and biofall is determined. Then pond contours are defined.
Typically, a pond has a full depth of 30" and an 18" ledge. The ledge provides natural perspective and a suitable home for aqua plants.
Underliner fabric is put in place. Liner is installed and framing of pond with fieldstone
begins. Creativity is the key to providing a natural and interesting design.
Design is completed. Debris is removed and the pond is rinsed out to eliminate residue
from stones. Perimeter landscaping is completed.
Then water is added and the pond is ready for your enjoyment!
